Ingredients

  • 14 Oreo cookies
  • 14 Reese's Minis Peanut Butter Cups
  • 10 ounces white melting wafers
  • ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  • Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking sheet —this keeps the cookies from sticking and makes cleanup easy.
  • Place the white melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

  • Dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate, using a fork to flip it so it’s completely covered. Lift the Oreo out, letting the excess chocolate drip off, and place it on the baking sheet.

  • While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle on the Christmas sprinkles or arrange them into a design. Gently press the larger end of a mini Reese’s cup at the top of each Oreo to create the “ornament hook.”

  • Put the baking sheet in the freezer for about 10 minutes to let the chocolate set completely.
  • When hardened, remove from the freezer, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Smooth Coating: Melt chocolate in short intervals, stirring often, to prevent lumps.
  • Use a Fork for Dipping: Using a fork to lift each Oreo helps coat evenly and reduces mess.
  • Add Sprinkles Right Away: Decorate with sprinkles immediately after dipping, as the chocolate sets quickly.
  • Freeze for Stability: A quick freeze keeps the Reese’s Minis and chocolate coating firm.
  • Wax Paper Works Too: No parchment paper? Wax paper is a good alternative for non-stick convenience.
  • Reheat if Needed: If the chocolate thickens while dipping, reheat it for 10 seconds in the microwave.
  • Get Creative with Sprinkles: Use a mix of holiday-themed sprinkles to make each cookie unique and festive.
