This recipe is easy to make, and with my clear steps, you’ll have perfectly crispy, delicious homemade Crunchwrap Supreme every time.

Cook the Beef

Start by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break it up as it cooks.

Stir in taco seasoning, letting it coat the beef for maximum flavor. Cook until the beef is browned, about 7-10 minutes, then drain any excess grease.

Build Your Crunchwrap

Lay one large tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a layer of cooked ground beef right in the center. Don’t spread it too close to the edges; you’ll need room to fold it later.

Add the Tostada

Heat your nacho cheese sauce according to the package directions. Spread it generously on one side of a tostada shell and gently place it, cheese-side down, onto the beef.

Then, spread sour cream evenly on the top of the tostada shell.

Layer Your Toppings

Sprinkle on your diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and cheese over the sour cream. Top it all off with a medium tortilla, pressing it gently to hold everything in place.

Fold and Seal

Carefully fold the edges of the large tortilla up and over the toppings, one section at a time, until the fillings are completely enclosed.

Don’t worry if it’s a bit loose—everything will hold together once it’s cooked.

Toast to Perfection

Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the folded Crunchwrap seam-side down in the hot skillet.

Press it gently with a spatula and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until it’s golden and crispy. Flip it over and repeat on the other side.

  • Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the ground beef and break it apart with a spoon or spatula as it cooks. • To assemble the Crunchwrap Supremes, start by laying one large tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a layer of the seasoned ground beef into the center of the tortilla. • Add diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and cheese on top of the tostada layer. Place a medium tortilla over the toppings, gently pressing it down to hold everything together. Fold the edges of the large tortilla up and over the smaller tortilla, overlapping the folds to seal the Crunchwrap. Note: It may be loosely folded, but it will hold its shape in the pan.

Once the skillet is hot, place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, pressing gently with a spatula to help it hold its shape and crisp up. • Serve immediately, garnished with optional chopped cilantro. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use Large Tortillas: A 12-inch tortilla works best to fully wrap the fillings without tearing.
  • Don’t Skip the Tostada: The tostada adds the signature crunch to this recipe. If you can’t find tostadas, use crispy tortilla chips as a substitute.
  • Spread Evenly: Make sure your fillings are evenly distributed to avoid bulky spots or breaking the wrap.
  • Heat the Cheese Sauce Slowly: Warm the nacho cheese sauce over low heat to keep it smooth and easy to spread.
  • Customize the Fillings: Add extras like black beans, guacamole, or even spicy jalapeños to make it your own.
  • Avoid Overfilling: While tempting, adding too much can make the wrap hard to fold or cause it to tear.
  • Press While Cooking: Use a spatula to press the Crunchwrap while it’s in the skillet for even crisping.

How to Store Leftover Crunchwrap Supremes

Store leftover Crunchwrap Supremes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.

To reheat, use a skillet or air fryer to bring back that crispy exterior. Microwaving works in a pinch but won’t give you the same crunch.

What to Serve With Crunchwrap Supremes

Crunchwrap Supremes are great on their own, but they pair wonderfully with classic sides like guacamole, salsa, or queso dip.

For something heartier, try serving them alongside Mexican rice or refried beans. A refreshing side salad can also balance the richness of this dish.
